Ana Marija Grbić was born in Belgrade where she is currently on the last year of her PHD studies in literature. She is the author of three books of poetry and one music biography, as well as numerous articles, poems and short prose pieces in periodicals, published in Serbia and abroad. She is an editor at the Arete publishing house, a host of the Klub 2 radio show on Radio Beograd 2, a creative writing mentor and an illustrator, as well as the founder of the poetry organisation Argh.
During her residency in Sofia Grbić will be working on a collection of short stories partially set in Sofia.
