Bio note

Monika Herceg is a poet, editor and playwright. She is known for her feminist and activist contributions, for which she is given the Fierce Women award. She is the most awarded young author in recent Croatian history, with her poetry and dramas translated into twenty languages. With over twenty awards for poetry, drama and prose, she is also referred to as a 'literary sensation', a title further confirmed by the newly won biennial international award European Poet of Freedom.
