ThinkPub - Thinking Publishing


The key goal of the ThinkPub project is to enable European publishing landscape to better adapt to the new realities of the digital disruption, thus making the European book sector more sustainable and creating more jobs.

ThinkPub stands at the forefront of a pivotal shift within the European book industry, driven by rapid digital innovation. As reading habits evolve, audiences are becoming increasingly segmented, expressing a desire for a wide array of content—from enchanting romantic fantasy to intricate technical guides.

The project is designed to empower publishers, equipping them with the essential tools and knowledge required to thrive in today’s rapidly evolving digital environment. The project will offer advanced education and training programs to all stakeholders in the book ecosystem. Central to this effort is the pioneering online Library of Digital Learning Objects, which will be instrumental in enhancing key competencies within the industry.

These areas are crucial for small to mid-sized publishers, especially those operating in niche or fragmented markets, as they adapt to new business strategies and hybrid production models.
