Literature and Translation Garden
Sunday volunteering in the Sofia Literature and Translation House's garden

➡ April 23, Sunday, 3:00 РМ, 12 Latinka Str

On the World Book and Copyright Day we invite you to exchange your intellectual activities... with physical ones. Come and join us in the Sofia Literature and Translation House's garden where we will roll up our sleeves and get some gardening done while we talk literature and share our plans and ideas for the upcoming spring-summer season.

The planting, re-planting and fertilizing will be powered by snacks, tea and coffee. If you wish to bring a flower to plant in the garden, you are more than welcome to do so!

➡ Joint the event on Facebook

In case you plan to join us, please drop a line to aivanova@npage.org so that we know how many instruments and pairs of gloves to prepare.

In the autumn of 2022 the Next Page Foundation won a project within the ‘Green Sofia’ programme by Sofia Municipality. We waited for the warmer weather to start refreshing the garden of the Sofia Literature and Translation House and Museum of Nenko Balkanski with the flowers and benches provided by the programme.

The House belongs to Sofia Municipality and it's our small team that takes care of its maintenance. Thus, 12 Latinka Str continues to host high-quality and free-entry cultural and literary events. We would like to express gratitude to the local municipality and to the National Culture Fund, Bulgaria for their support.
