Bio note
Jörg Plath works as an editor, responsible for literature features at the nationwide broadcasting service
Deutschlandfunk Kultur in Berlin. As a literary critic he writes for 'Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung' and 'Neue Zuercher Zeitung'.
He has studied Booktrading, German Literature, History and Politics in Freiburg im Breisgau, Vienna and Berlin. He has worked as a ghostwriter, freelance editor and journalist, and a literary critic for several publishing houses and newspapers.
Residency goals
Jörg Plath's residence in Sofia is related to his research interest in contemporary Bulgarian literature. Plath will meet with authors and literary critics in preparation of a series of materials for the German press.
