Income Structure for 2021
The deadline for filling the anual reports of non-profits to the Bulgarian National Registry Agency is just around the corner - September 30 2022. We consider it important to give an account here as well in more simple terms as to how the existence and activities of Next Page Foundation and the Sofia Literature and Translation House were made possible financially last year.
You can take a look at a brief summary of what we have done in the past year
here.
In 2021, as in any other year, Next Page operated entirely on project-based funding won on a competitive basis, and without a sustainable institutional support for activities or staff. The two partnership projects we won at the end of 2020 with co-funding by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union allowed us to continue the international activities of the foundation, and the launch of the One Year Grant programme of the National Culture Fund, Bulgaria - to further develop and enhance our work in Bulgaria.
All of our events and initiatives, besides our literary translation trainings, are admission free.
The Foundation's office is located at 12 Latinka St. Here we welcome some of our international residents and organize most of our public events. The house has been leased for free to Next Page Foundation by Sofia Municipality and Regional History Museum - Sofia. The two institutions monitor the implementation of the programme of the Sofia Literature and Translation House and hold three seats in its Development Committee. The foundation maintains and develops the spaces of the House.
