(Re)-Engaging Digital Audiences – Improving Audience Data
suggests guidelines and recommendations to the cultural sector and the European Commission on the topics:
- COVID-19 recovery, impact on cultural consumption by digital means and the EU’s role in assisting cultural organizations;
- Digital audience management and a supportive role for the EU;
- Aspects of data collection and management with regard to rebuilding and reaching existing and new audiences via digital means (including a focus on the digitally-deprived).
The report reflects the results from an online Brainstorming Meeting with culture and creative sectors practitioners organised by the Voices of Culture in December 2021 and a workshop with the European Commission at the Goethe-Institut Brussels in April 2022. Next Page Foundation took part in the meeting and workshop and in the composing of the report.
