Bio
Laura Liubinavičiute is a Polish and Spanish language literature translator. Her most recent translations include Samantha Schweblin's 'Fever dream' ('Distancia de rescate'), Mariana Enriquez's 'Things we lost in the fire' ('Las cosas que perdimos en el fuego') and Mario Vargas Llosa's 'Five corners' ('Cinco esquinas').
In 2016 Laura begins a course for literature translators of Basque language Barnetegi Zonotza, Amorebieta, Bilbao and is currently working on a few Basque literature translations to be piblished in the near future.
Residency goals
During her residensy stay in Sofia Laura will be translating the short stories of Olga Tokarczuk and polishing the novel of Kirmen 'Uribe Bilbao - New York - Bilbao'.
