IT Tools for Publishers Study

During the end of 2005 and the beginning of 2006, in collaboration with the OSI Tool-sets program Next Page conducted an IT Tools for Publishers Survey. The survey participants were more than 30 professionals from 12 Arab countries involved in various sectors form the book publishing field.

The survey aims were:

• To understand awareness, availability and usage of IT tools (hardware and software)
• To understand the IT gaps and needs to assess the status and prospects for e-publishing
