Based at the Sofia Literature and Translation House, the program in 2020 will grant three to four fellowships for writers and translators for one-month creative residency stay. The host organisation also provides its residents with access to libraries and research centres, along with the possibility of getting to know the cultural life of Sofia, of meeting key figures, cultural organisations and publishers.
The program welcomes proposals from:

Residents are expected to work intensively on the specific project with which they apply for the program, to conduct at least two events (a workshop, a lecture, a public discussion, a meeting with students or other), to network with colleagues in Bulgaria and with other residents, to appear in media.
The program offers free accommodation in Sofia as well as a monthly fellowship equal to 800 euro. Accomodation is provided at the premises of Sofia Literature and Translation House or in a centrally-located apartment. Accomodation choices depend on availability.
