Bio note
Srpko Leštarić is a professional translator from Arabic into Serbian. So far, he has translated from Arabic into Serbian more than 25 collections of modern short stories and novels by prominent Arab authors, as well as seven compilations of genuine Arab folk tales from the spoken dialects of the Arab East. Residency goals
Srpko Leštarić's residency in Sofia is within the
Translation Collider project that includes participation at the Sofia Forum on Translations, as well as in the collective residency work on translating contemporary Balkan authors into Arabic. Leštarić participates in the residency with a project on translating
