Translation Collider is a project aiming to intensify literary translations flow between the languages of the Balkan peninsula and Arabic by building new connections between translators, editors, publishers, literary organisations.

While the two regions share historical and cultural connections as well as recent experiences of social turbulences, literary exchanges reflecting on these links via translation, rarely happen. With the exception of Turkish, translations from most of the languages of the Balkan peninsula into Arabic are next to absent, while it is mainly classical or religious texts translated from Arabic that are offered to readers in the Balkans.

The full edition of the Arabic-language catalogue of authors from the Balkans in PDF is downloadable in Arabic here:  http://www.npage.org/uploads/e04977b3c79bc8e8e9a06b113abbdbb14eacf2b7.pdf
